We are saddened by Rod’s passing but happy that we were fortunate enough to have him in our lives. We will miss his wonderful sense of humor and his zest for life. He was one of the most astute and knowledgeable people we ever met. Rod was a leader, generously taking on projects and problems while living at Colonial Square Senior Village. First just another resident he quickly became a good friend; we will remember all the fish frys, casino bus trips and long conversations about politics. Rod spoke often about his love for his family. He loved to share memories of his service in Korea, his early life in Erie, and adventures at the lake. There was nothing he couldn’t fix! We will truly miss this remarkable man. God bless you, Rod.

I was fortunate enough to meet Rodney a little over three years ago. He was a very good man, very intelligent and loved life. He would come in the bank always with a positive attitude even when he was not feeling well. He was always smiling and as friendly as one can be. We will miss him.
