VANESSA N. “SUNSHINE” WEBSTER



SAVONA-Vanessa N. “Sunshine” Webster, 28, of Aulls Road, passed away Tuesday (Feb. 16, 2016) at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital in Bath as a result of injuries she sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Born in the Town of Urbana on July 9, 1987, Vanessa spent her younger years in Hammondsport and resided in the surrounding area most of her life; and attended Hammondsport Central School as well as Prattsburgh Central School.

On Dec. 17, 2006 she was married at the Zion Fellowship Church in Canandaigua to Nathan W. “Nate” Webster, who survives. For the past two years Vanessa has resided in the Savona and Bradford area with her husband and children.

Affectionately known as “Sunshine” to her family and friends, she will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece and friend. Vanessa devoted her entire life to her family and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Her loving family includes her husband of nearly 10 years, Nate; her four sons, Jeremiah Webster, age 13, Nathan Webster, Jr., age 8, Trenton Webster, age 4 and Hayden Webster, age 3 all of Savona; her father, Vincent Young of Avoca; her mother, Faith (Orr) Young of Prattsburgh; her brother, James Young and his two children, Tanner and Rowan all of Bath; her sister, Jessica Young and her two children, Lillyonna Bush and Milaynna Bush all of Avoca; her aunts and uncles, including, Edwin and Carol Young of Hammondsport, who were very close to her, Cheryl Orr of Hammondsport, Fred and Georgia Orr of Newark, Max Orr of Prattsburgh and Kevin (Dorinda) Orr of Louisiana; as well as several cousins and other extended family members and many friends.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Trudy Young, who was very dear to her; also her maternal grandparents, Max and Charlotte Orr.

The Avoca Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Avoca is honored to serve the family of Vanessa N. “Sunshine” Webster.

A service will be held in her memory at a later date at a place and time to eventually be announced.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in her memory to her husband and children in care of Nathan W. Webster, 7670 Aulls Road, Savona, N.Y. 14879.
